Our February Impact Award Winner is Vermont Intervention Specialist Katie Gottschall

Tremendous work is done across our Wyoming school community to create extraordinary opportunities for students. Vermont School Intervention Specialist Katie Gottschall exemplifies excellence in her work to empower Vermont School students with the knowledge, perspective, and skills essential for success. 

In her work, Mrs. Gottschall:

• Creates active and engaging learning experiences and environments for students.
• Celebrates the accomplishments of students and staff members.
• Embeds inclusive practices in creating safe spaces for all students.
• Provides timely and accessible communication to others.
• Uses innovative practices in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
• Builds partnerships with families, colleagues, and community members for the purpose of student well-being resulting in academic, social, and emotional success.
