WMS students shine in regional honors orchestra

Nine talented WMS students were nominated to participate in the Ohio Music Educators Association (OMEA) District 14 Junior High Honors Orchestra where they had the opportunity to work with Dr. Betty Anne Gottlieb, head of music education at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music.

The following WMS students represented our school with excellence and demonstrated the dedication and passion that defines the Wyoming music program: 8th graders Charlie Carson, Ben Fernandez, Micah Foote, Lakshmi Iyer, Austin Lin, and Mallory Pecsok, and 7th graders Olivia Gozal, Mischa Luebbe, and Sam Mecoli.

Students from multiple schools came together to rehearse and perform new music, culminating in a final performance.
