Michael Voynovich named Principal of Wyoming High School

At the May 29, 2024, Wyoming City Schools Board of Education meeting, Michael Voynovich was named the next Principal of Wyoming High School.

“Mr. Voynovich brings incredibly impressive talent, skills, and experience to us and he’s very excited to work with the students, staff, and entire community of Wyoming,” said Superintendent Tim Weber. 

Mr. Voynovich brings 19 years of education experience to Wyoming High School. He is currently the Principal of Franklin High School. Previous positions include Principal of Franklin Junior High School, Assistant Principal of Franklin High School, Assistant Principal of Indian Hill Middle School, and Advanced Placement Government Teacher. Mr. Voynovich is a good communicator and an excellent listener who values the perspectives of others. In each of his prior roles, he has prioritized student needs and worked quickly to produce innovative solutions that are tangible and effective.

“I also understand the importance of showing every member of the faculty and staff that they are valued,” said Mr. Voynovich. “Each day, I strive to help every person in my building achieve their dreams - without exception.”

Mr. Voynovich attended the University of Cincinnati earning Master’s Degrees in Educational Leadership and Secondary Education, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History.

Mr. Voynovich was selected from a talented candidate pool in a competitive process that included input and participation from students, staff, and community members.

Mr. Voynovich’s contract will begin August 1, 2024, with up to 10 paid transition days prior to the start of the contract. Current Wyoming High School Principal James Stallings is leaving to become the Assistant Director of Student Services of Princeton City Schools. We thank him for his leadership and dedication to the students, staff, and families of Wyoming High School and wish him continued success in all his future endeavors!
