These notices are pertinent to the No Surprises Act and the Publicly Available Cost Information requirements of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA):    

No Surprise Act Notice - This legislation provides rules and processes to protect health plan members from balance billing that may arise from non-network provider utilization that is out of the member's control. An example could be, an individual having surgery at an in-network facility, by an in-network physician, but the anesthesiologist, which they have no control over, is out of network.

Federal Transparency in Coverage RuleThis link leads to machine readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
