Meet the New Principals Summer Events

In June, the entire Wyoming community is invited to meet the next principals of Wyoming High School and Wyoming Primary Schools.

“Our new principals are bringing incredibly impressive talent, skills and experience to us and they are so excited to work with the students, staff, and entire community of Wyoming,” said Superintendent Tim Weber.

Wyoming High School Principal James Stallings

All are invited to meet incoming Wyoming High School Principal James Stallings 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Wyoming High School in the Dan Jones Center for Research and Innovation.

Mr. Stallings comes to us from Lakota West High School where he is wrapping up his time as the Freshman Principal. He has a proven ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members, and a stellar reputation as a leader with a relentless work ethic. His extensive experience includes serving as Assistant Principal of Lakota West, Dean of Students at Princeton High School, and nine years as an Intervention Specialist. Mr. Stallings was selected from a talented candidate pool in a competitive process that included input and participation from students, staff, and community members.

“I am committed to helping students reach their full potential, academically and socially, and to challenging staff to reach their pinnacle as educators,” said Mr. Stallings. “I am honored and excited to do this work in a district that ranks as one of the best in the state.”

Wyoming Primary Schools Principal Gina Kirchner

All are invited to meet incoming Wyoming Primary Schools Principal Gina Kirchner at any of the following times and locations:

Elm School: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 29

Her extensive experience includes serving as Assistant Principal of Wyandot Early Childhood School and 17 years of classroom teaching experience, including four years teaching fourth grade at Wyoming’s Elm School. Her experience in the classroom with a variety of grade levels and subject areas has given her a deep understanding of the learning process and made her a knowledgeable and empathetic instructional leader. Ms. Kirchner was selected from a talented candidate pool in a competitive process that included input and participation from staff and community members.

“I am passionate about education and am deeply committed to our public schools and the impact they have on our society,” said Ms. Kirchner. “I know from first-hand experience that Wyoming shares this value, making it my top choice for where to continue my work.”

More opportunities to meet our new principals will take place in the weeks before and during the 2021-2022 school year!
