WE WORK TO PLAY!
Wyoming Theater Arts is the student-driven, extracurricular drama program of Wyoming High School.  Our goal is to foster enrichment in theatre arts through hands-on education.  Students have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of theater and musical theater production:

Acting techniques, script and role interpretation, and individual presentation
Technical skills which include set building and design, light and sound design, costuming, publicity, stage and house management
Vocal, instrumental, and dance skills specific to music theater
Our students work hard to create exceptional productions.  Two full length plays and one musical are presented each year.  Our program achieves success assisting a number of students  prepare for participation in college and university theater programs, as well as professionally.

Any high school student is welcome-no previous experience is necessary, and every person’s energy and contribution counts.  Camaraderie is cultivated and friendships are created and nurtured in a safe environment.  Participation in WTAD will also promote development of integrative life skills such as analytical and creative thought processing, team building, personal responsibility and pride in exceptional work-skills that carry over into life after graduation and assist students in their journey toward becoming productive, self-confident individuals.
