The Primary Facilities Committee was tasked to build upon the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) Primary Facilities Study completed during the 2021-2022 school year. In the fall of 2022, in consultation with school facilities professionals, this committee worked to:
- GATHER information (site plans, building usage, school capacities, etc.)
- ASSESS our primary buildings (physical conditions, operational costs, educational adequacy)
- EVALUATE enrollment (current and projected)
In December 2022, ENVISION Focus Groups took place. The goals of these well-attended community engagement opportunities were to:
- Envision education that supports student needs now and in the future through the lens of the Wyoming City Schools Strategic Plan.
- Connect this information to future facility needs specific to primary-age students.
Feedback from these focus groups has informed the committee's comprehensive facilities planning and, specifically, the potential options for what the future could look like at Wyoming Primary Schools. Since January 2023, the Primary Facilities Committee has used the focus group feedback to DEVELOP Plan Options.
Opportunities for the community to ENGAGE with these options through community meetings and surveys have been planned for April and May.

Saturday, April 29: 8:45 a.m. at Hilltop School
Monday, May 1: 8:45 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. at Hilltop School
Wednesday, May 10: 8:45 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. at Vermont School
These two-hour sessions will include a tour, information session, feedback opportunities, and refreshments. Come learn about the work that has been done to date and the options that have been developed, and share your feedback. The partnership between the community and the schools is what makes Wyoming the special place it is. Your feedback is needed and greatly appreciated!
