Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the Wyoming School Foundation and many private donors, the Dan Jones Center for Research and Innovation became a reality during the 2020-2021 school year. This $1.2 million expansion and renovation of the space that was once the media center was entirely privately funded.
The Dan Jones Center for Research and Innovation fosters curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking. In this space, every Wyoming High School student can engage in innovative learning and complete interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with our teachers, our innovation specialist, and our media specialist.
This facility demonstrates the incredible power of the Wyoming community, where so many come together to share their time, talent, and treasure in support of Wyoming students.
Thank you to the Wyoming School Foundation and the commitment of our donors.
Thank you to the teachers, administrators, and staff members for creating a plan that sets our students on the path for even greater success.
Thank you to our Wyoming architect Charlie Jahnigen and SHP, our Wyoming contractor Bryan Beischel and Beischel Building Company, and our Wyoming interior designer Mandy Flynn and Collective Spaces, who all understand the commitment to excellence that has become the expectation in Wyoming and who have delivered on that promise in their work.
And this work, from groundbreaking to completion, happened during a pandemic!
