Remote Education Plan

Because gathering in our classrooms and buildings is not possible at this time, we have moved to our Remote Education Plan.

During Remote Education Weeks:

Grades K-1

  • Students will be provided with paper packets containing all materials for continued learning at home.
  • Information about packet distribution will be shared as needed.

Grades 2-12

Teachers will provide the learning plan for the entire week prior to 8:30 a.m. each Monday. Students will be provided with instructional materials through the use of technology.

  • If you are in need of a district-issued laptop, please email a request to your teacher and one will be delivered to your home.
  • If internet access is not available, please contact your building principal.

During Office Hours:

Teachers will be online ready to respond to students through email and CANVAS. The goal during this time is to answer questions and provide immediate feedback and support on the week’s assignments.

During the afternoons:

Teachers will use this time to schedule online real-time engagement and/or lessons to work with students through Zoom or other online virtual meeting tools. At the Primary Schools, lessons are focused on Math and Reading. To lessen the likelihood of overlapping meetings, these are blocked by subject area at the high school and middle school:

Monday: English-Language Arts

Tuesday: Math

Wednesday: Science

Thursday: Social Studies

Friday: Specials/Electives

Instructional materials and expectations are shared directly with students at the high school level. In 2nd-8th grades, materials and expectations are shared with students and families through email prior to the start of each week and can be found on the Primary Remote Education Plan and Middle School Remote Education Plan pages of this website.

Learning remotely can be a challenge and we’re all in this together. Sources for assistance with meals, mental wellness and technology can be found on this page.

Teachers, administrators and counselors are available for support and to answer questions. All staff emails can be found by using the Staff Directory.
