Principal's Message

Dear Families,  

Welcome to Wyoming Primary Schools!

Wyoming Primary* provides a welcoming, nurturing, challenging and safe learning environment in which all children from kindergarten through fourth grade are actively engaged in our curriculum. Our dedicated, highly skilled staff aligns instruction with Wyoming City Schools Standards and the Common Core. Our staff’s passion for and love of teaching is evident throughout our buildings. Teachers set high expectations for their students and are goal-oriented.  We have designed an academically rigorous curriculum, while being mindful of the age-appropriate skill levels of our learners. Our innovative classroom instruction is based on research with stimulating class discussions, individual and small group projects and off-site field trips that challenge our students to stretch their understanding of our global society. We have created a school climate where learning is the primary goal.  

Our three primary schools develop the talents of all children through our nationally-recognized arts and music programs. Students learn the value of a global education and are taught Spanish beginning in the first grade. We are fortunate to have a very supportive community and believe a strong partnership with parents is vital for student achievement. As such, we invite you to participate in a number of school activities. 

Overall, students in Kindergarten through 4th grade enjoy attending Wyoming Primary Schools. We work collaboratively as a learning community to foster a caring attitude, helping to ensure every child’s success.
