WHS Teacher wins 2021 Outstanding Art Teacher Award

OAEA teacher of the yearAt this year's Ohio Art Education Association Conference, WHS Teacher Mollie Williams received the Outstanding Art Teacher Award for Ohio’s Southwest Region!

Nominated by her fellow art educators, Mollie (pictured with her husband and children) was lauded for her consistent dedication to her students, her scholarship and her professionalism.

“I strive to make my students’ art time a safe place where they can break out of their shell, a place to shine, grow through failure and challenges and increase their self-confidence by celebrating accomplishments, however big or small,” said Mollie. “Above all, I love art, and teaching allows me to pass this passion onto my students!”

Mollie Williams is in her 17th year of teaching. In addition to Wyoming High School, Mollie has taught in Wyoming Primary Schools, Lakota High School, West Clermont Schools, St. Veronica Elementary School and Terry’s Montessori.
