  • Be a Digital Citizen:  Digital citizenship includes complying with the norms of appropriate, responsible technology use. Online postings are meaningful. Think critically as you build a high quality digital footprint. What is posted to the web is there forever.
  • Bring devices fully charged to school.
  • Close the lid of the computer when teachers are lecturing or when device is not
           being utilized.
  • Do not change settings on computer.
  • Do not download anything without teacher permission.
  • Do not eat or drink near devices.
  • Do not share your device with others.
  • Do not surf the Internet or read e-mail when you're supposed to be listening to the
           teacher or working on an assignment.
  • Get permission if you want to use the Internet for anything other than the day's
  • Have all necessary applications open and active.
  • Inform staff if you access something uncomfortable or inappropriate.
  • Leave workspaces the way you found them.
  • Never give out personal information; never share your password.
  • Print only when necessary and when it is schoolwork-related.
  • Read the instructions on the computer screen before asking for help.
  • Respect the hardware and software.
  • Spell check and proofread before printing.
  • Print to a color printer only when color is needed.
  • Stay out of other people's files.
  • Use gentle touch when using the mouse and keyboard.
  • Visit approved sites.
