1/1/08 - Vermont and Hilltop Primary Schools have been named as State Superintendent's Schools of Distinction. This program is designed to recognize schools in which a high percentage of all students, including those with disabilities, show outstanding performance.
11/30/07 - Wyoming High School was named among America's Best High Schools by U.S. News and World Report. WHS was ranked as 81st in the nation and has received a "gold" rating from the magazine. Based upon an in-depth methodology, which factors in performance in math and reading, college readiness, and proficiency test results, this ranking system analyzes how well schools serve all of their students.
10/03/07 - Elm and Hilltop Primary Schools are named as 2007 No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools! They are among 287 schools nationwide to receive this prestigious honor.
9/18/07 - The district unveils a new website today with a cleaner, simpler design that is faster to load and easier to read. In addition to the aesthetic changes, there are other improvements as well, all geared toward helping you find information more quickly and easily than ever before:

9/01/07 - Wyoming Schools are ranked as "Excellent" on the 2006-07 State Report Card (released August 14, 2007). The district met all 30 indicators and has a performance score of 109.3. This is the 8th consecutive year Wyoming Schools have attained this rating.
